GPS locator in cars
All cars should have a GPS locator to prevent / discourage theft and help track vehicles in emergency situations. Obviously any electronic device can be tampered with, but if a car is being stolen outside a house, the thief won’t have time to disable such a system and so there is a window of opportunity for the police / owner to act…. Better yet, the device could notify the owner whenever the car moves. The owner could have a button on a keyring which enables locking of the vehicle and activates this alert function.
